This training is destined for applicants who can prove they have had a durable professional activity in a field related to architecture, building or land use planning:
- 4 years for people with a diploma affirming 2 years of post-high-school education.
- 6 years for high-school graduates or people with an equivalent diploma.
- 8 years for other applicants.
In all cases, this activity must include at least 3 years full-time in the field of architecture, under the supervision of an architect or in partnership with an architect or an architecture firm.
Once the admission commission has verified the admissibility criteria, applicants are invited to pass a series of tests, generally in the spring. These aim to evaluate their ability to fulfill certain prerequisites for architectural design and their knowledge in certain disciplines.
